Hindu idols being installed in prison wards of Kashmiri female Muslim political prisoners

On 14th September, family members of Muslim Kashmiri female political prisoners in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail stated in a conversation with us that the Hindu right-wing jail authorities are installing Hindu idols in wards where the Muslim Kashmiri female political prisoners are kept, in order to antagonize them. Additionally, when the prisoners recite the Quran, or perform Salat (prayer), Hindu hymns are recited aloud so as to torment and disorient the Muslim political prisoners.
