As the long weekend of Thanksgiving comes in many of us will be spending time enjoying and being thankful with our family and friends.
Let us remember to take a few minutes during that time to be thankful for our freedoms that allow us to meet and enjoy together.
Let us remember to take a few minutes to pray for the well-being, and freedom of our brothers and sisters in Kashmir that suffer every day under oppression.
Let us remember to take a few minutes to pray that our Kashmiri brothers and sisters are soon able to enjoy freedom, to be able to unite and celebrate together with their families.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“The supplication of a Muslim for his (Muslim) brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Every time he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says: ‘Aameen! May it be for you, too’.”
Narrated by Abu Darda’ in Sahih Muslim
