Indian Forces Arrest Two Youth in Poonch District of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir

On October 19th, Indian police arrested two young Kashmiris in Poonch district of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir during a cordon and search operation.

Authorities labeled the detainees as “hybrid militants” and claimed that they provided support to Kashmiri pro-freedom combatants.

This arrest is part of a broader pattern in the region, where the term “hybrid militant” is often applied by occupying forces to justify detaining Kashmiris, with similar charges frequently cited to support these arrests.
