4 civilians by Indian armed forces at Hyderpora, Srinagar
Justice for All strongly condemns the indiscriminate murder of 4 civilians by Indian armed forces at Hyderpora, Srinagar. The Indian forces alleged that they were killed in a gunfight but later police authorities labeled them as over ground workers (OGW’s). The victims include Dr. Mudasir Gul of Rawalpora and prominent businessman, Altaf Ahmad Bhat of Barzullah. Justice for All is deeply concerned about the ongoing state sanctioned killings of innocent Kashmiris and calls for an independent enquiry by the Jammu Kashmir High Court. The families deny the victims were militants.
They expressed heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies with the bereaved families. Both demanded the dead bodies be handed over to the families of the martyrs for honourable burial as per religious rites.
Justice For All is keeping a close eye on the situation.
